Scarlett Deva Antaloczy – Composer and Arranger

Scarlett grew up with a strong Hungarian background. Her father was a Hungarian freedom fighter. Her mother sang Hungarian operettas and folksongs. Thus her passion for world music and Hungarian culture. In 1997 Scarlett began interviewing hundreds of people from all walks of life in Europe and then North America who took part in the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. Scarlett’s Book of Compilations, Freedom ’56, includes a wealth of submissions from all over the world.

Scarlett was head-hunted by Ogilvy and Mather as a Music producer/composer/singer for commercials like Ford, Eagle Star, Gordon's Gin and others, which were aired throughout Europe and Australia. Her delightful piano arrangements are published in The Singing Book by Norton Music, NY. The musical Chastity Belts won a "Dramalogue" award for best musical, where Scarlett was both actress and music producer. Rock Heaven, with lyrics by Nigel Osner and Scarlett’s original music was premiered in Covent Garden and London venues. Scarlett writes and produces videos, documentaries and works as a voice-over artist including The Simpsons cartoon etc., when not healing. She was commissioned to re-arrange the Canadian National Anthem, pressed and released on A&M records.

Scarlett’s One-Woman Show is hailed with rave reviews. ‘It was when the Transylvanian strawberry blonde started that I began to see the point of this singing malarkey – sending notes swooping and diving in all directions, she shook her streaked mane when the piano player followed her every vocal curlicue as if magnetised or bewitched – this girl can sing!’ John Walsh, The Independent.

On another note, Scarlett, musician/ healer, (Dr. TCM/DNM, Hons. BA) integrates expressive therapies like sound healing (http://www.lifesoundz.com) with TCM. (http://ohmmcentre.com ). Scarlett gives master classes in the ‘dao’ of the singing voice, lectures on Energy Medicine and innovative healing techniques and technologies, Advanced Acupuncture and is the Author of The Beauty of Cosmetic Acupuncture. Scarlett appeared as an MC and Artist for the UK Glastonbury Music Festival 2000 as well as for various forums and conferences on Chinese Medicine and Hungarian Cultural Events. She founded the annual Music and Medicine Festival bringing together artists and experts in health. A leader in the human potential and integrative fields, her successful projects, seminars, concerts and music are continuously featured on stage, Radio and TV.
